On April 22, executive director of the Tokyo Foundation Sanae Oda and another 2 delegates visited Jilin University. Executive Vice President of JLU Chen Gang met with the delegation, and officials from Graduate Management Division, Finance Department and Office of the International Cooperation and Exchange attended the meeting.

On April 25, Vice President of the Foreign Affairs in Rutgers University Eric Garfunkel visited Jilin University, Council Director Yang Zhenbin, Chairman of the Academic Committee, Feng Shouhua, and Executive Vice President Chen Gang met him. On behalf of JLU and Rutgers University respectively, Chen Gang and Eric signed Cooperation Agreement on the United Nations and Global Policy Research Graduate “4Plus1”Project. Assistant Principal and Dean of School of International and Public Affairs Liu Debin, and leading officials from International Cooperation and Exchange Department and Academic Affairs Office attended signing ceremony.

Hundreds of graduate students from 23 Graduate Training Units participated in Graduate Sunshine Sports table tennis tournament, which held at the central campus of Jilin University on December 26-27. President Li Yuanyuan watched the match and gave live interpretation of content about “Sunshine Sports”, calling on the majority of graduate students strengthening physical fitness in their free time and taking responsibilities in national development and construction.
